Starting her first season as principal harpist with Opera Philadelphia, Ruth was featured in their opening production of Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims , which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal  as part of the company’s 50th anniversary season. The article highlights the production’s exuberant energy, inventive staging, and musical vitality in this rarely performed opera, presented at the Academy of Music in a contemporary art gallery setting.
